Two-Tone:
Picking a two tone bridesmaid dress, or a skirt and top, can add some exciting contrast to an otherwise plain color palette. It also adds some texture and usually this option allows for more wearability for your bridesmaid post wedding.
Add a little Sparkle:
What girl doesn’t want to feel glamorous? These sparkly dresses would make any girl feel like a million bucks! Designers are adding this sparkling glam to their dresses with fun fabrics, small brooches and shiny belts, and sequined bodices.
The LBD (Long Black Dress:)
Black has been and probably always be the ultimate classic look, not to mention the most flattering. We have all heard of the little black dress, but have you heard of the LONG black dress. Long black dresses are a very popular trend right now in bridesmaid dresses.
White/Ivory/Nude/Light Colors:
Who says the bride can be the only one in white? It has been taboo in the past, but now everyone can be in white or light colors and it can add some beautiful elegance to the wedding. Don’t worry. Everyone will know who the bride is no matter what her bridesmaids are wearing!
Pastels:
Pink is not the only pastel color around these days for bridesmaid dresses. Lavender, periwinkle, mint, yellow, etc! Your bridesmaids are sure to look beautiful and glamorous in these soft shades. This color choice is especially huge for Spring weddings.
Before we end…here are a couple other colors that seem to always remained popular: Yellow of any shade and Dark Blue. These colors always look great and seem to be very flattering as well.
